BizBox

The Business In A Box (BizBox) Project is a partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA). The goal of the four (4) year Project is to create dignified and fulfilling jobs for 250,000 Ghanaian youth between the ages of 15 to 35 years with 70% being women and 10% being Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) by 2027.

The intervention integrates tools, learnings, and support needed by the youth to start and grow their businesses through five (5) main pillars namely:
  • Youth Skills Development
  • Access to Market
  • Access to Start-up Kits
  • Youth Social Networks
  • Institutional Strengthening, Policy and Regulatory Support

AGRICULTURE AND AGRIBUSINESS TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP (AA2E)

This Component provides Participants with competency-based training with Farm Institutes, Agric Colleges etc, mindset shift and entrepreneurial skills training and start-up kits.

APPRENTICESHIP TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP (A2E)
 

This Component equips Participants with technical or vocational training, mindset shift and entrepreneurial skills training, and start-up kits.

MSME BUSINESS ACCELERATION (MBA)
 

This Component is aimed at fast-tracking the growth of existing women-owned or women-led businesses through Kaizen training and addresses barriers related to access to market and regulatory support.
